I would very much appreciate it if anyone with experience could shed some light on that matter for me. Sound Blaster (R) Audigy (R) 2 users who wish to utilize the new EAX 4.0 feature in Doom 3 should download the latest Creative Beta Drivers for the card released on April 5th, 2005. A new update is available for DOOM & DOOM II on all platforms that includes QOL improvements, performance optimization, and more PC: Added (DOS) 'Legacy Version' Access. Do any of you have experience with both those and with the betas? Given Creative's history of drivers - ahem - I am reluctant to install the beta ones. 3 downloads The patch brings a Universal Binary for Intel-powered Macs as well as graphics performance improvements on ATI cards. There is a patch live on PS4 as I type this btw but you should be able to play anyway in the meantime.
